Fische im Blumenmeer (Fish in a Sea of Flowers)
The butterfly fish and flames are colorful eye-catchers either in a gorgeous sea of flowers or as colorful spots on a snow covered terrace. Both fish and flames come with 19 11/16" (50 cm) long stainless metal rods which can be slightly trimmed upon request.
The glass enameler individually decorates each fish by hand. The glass colors are set at more than 1000º F. in order to incorporate them into the glass which achieves permanence and durability. Because both the fish and flames are not molded, but hand shaped and enameled, each piece is unique. This results in variations in shape, color and size. Only one side of the object is enameled giving the viewer two different perspectives, depending upon whether they are looking at the painted side, or at the painting through the glass.
