These hand-blown flytraps are really unique and outstanding. For centuries these traps have been produced by the glassblowers at the Freiherr von Poschinger factory. The inside of the jar is curved and can be filled with sweet liquids or apple juice as bait. Some swear that vinegar diluted with water works well. The insects are lured into the trap by the aroma and enter through the round opening from underneath. The insects can't fly out and are trapped inside. Before they fall into the liquid, if you desire, you can take the trap outside and release them by opening the stopper at the top.
