Gartenkugeln (Garden Balls)
The Gartenkugeln are colorful garden globes which are carefully hand silvered inside. They have always been part of exquisite decorations in both country and city gardens in Bavaria and around the world. Similar to precious stones, the colors of the globes were thought to have magical powers to protect and defend the owner from harm. The color of agate is said to bring a good harvest. The color of ruby should bring love and faithfulness. The color of topaz stands for peace. Garden globes have existed since the Bavarian baroque and to many are still full of meaning and mysticism. This exquisite glass decorative is often chosen as a special gift and is used as outdoor holiday decorations. We produce the classical globe shape in three different optic decors.
